The Battle of the Brains vs. The Battle of the Move

So, by now you are all probably aware of my tendency to procrastinate. Well, the procrastination has led me to a point of complete mental chaos thanks to the fact that I procrastinated not only finishing up this book, but getting things done for the move to Germany as well. You might be thinking to yourself, “Oh great, that means this book is going to get pushed back.” Never fear…. and here is why:

I seemingly do far better under the crunch of a deadline than any other time in my life. I’m closing in the on typing those two sweet little words (The End) and I honestly believe that this is the best book I’ve ever written. It’s by far my favorite! I found myself in an outright panic about two weeks ago, trying to figure out how I was going to get everything done before the BIG move. Turns out, when you don’t have any furniture in your house, or a television, that you get a whole lot more work done. Maybe I need to arrange a room in my future house to be completely empty with the exception of an airbed….. maybe then I’ll write ALL the books that pop into my head.

So, start looking on my facebook page…. teasers, cover reveal, and release date are all coming soon!

Now, let’s turn our focus to the other BIG thing going on in my life. I’m moving to Germany. That’s right, the Army man is shipping us overseas for a grand adventure. I don’t really know what that means for me as far as writing will go, but I don’t plan for much to change. I’m in cahoots with the brilliant IndieSage PR company to make sure you all stay up to date on the goings on and that the time difference won’t make that much of a difference. I might not be able to do as many takeovers (though, let’s be honest, I haven’t done that many this year), and I for sure won’t be attending any stateside signings, but who knows… Maybe I’ll sign up for one in Europe…. 😀

Remember, if you ever need me, I’m just a message away. I love getting reader mail and I absolutely will ALWAYS respond. Even if it takes me a while…. I will get around to it!

Until next time…. embrace the change!
xoxo,
Michelle Graves
